Well… we have a hard time believing that its true… but when I see my belly growing (it is now much bigger than the pictures, sigh) and my pants don’t fit I realize that all this is REALLY happening to us…  Wow…

We went to another doctors appointment on March 5th… and everything seems to be fine… the baby is growing… His little head was almost 8 cms across… and his little femur is 6 cm long…  According to a formula using the size of the baby’s belly, he was weighing almost 1.7 kilograms already… and should be adding another quarter kilo every week from now on… (What does that mean for MY belly?  Oh dear!)

According to internet… we only have 59 days left until the due date (May 16th)… and we have survived 78% of the pregnancy… and there is only 22% left…  Amazing…

…and…

…our “little one” is a boy!!!!!

We always said that whether our little one was a girl or boy didn’t really matter… we just prayed for a healthy baby… …but when Marco found out that he is going to have a son, he was just so incredibly happy… and is already imagining teaching him how to kick a soccer ball… and making him a little backpack… so they can go fishing together…

Counting two new students that aren’t terribly regular at coming to class… we had 10 pregnant ladies at El Jordan!!!!!  Two of those have already been born this month already… and two more are due any day… Yikes… with another due in April and two of us May… Wow… None of you want to come and help in our child care floor???  At El Jordan, we have volunteers who look after the kids while their moms are in class… there are close to 80 children under 12 that come with their moms… Some have school and only come for special activities… but there are still many of those who come on a regular basis… (and that 80 isn’t counting the 10 new ones coming!!!  This is actually a real prayer request that we have… we need committed volunteers… who love kids… to help on our kids floor… Please pray that God will be working in people’s hearts in our local churches that could help in this area…  Right now, Heidi, our volunteer who heads up our kids program (and does an amazing job) has been not well for a long time… and in these last couple months has gotten worse…There has been no clear diagnosis made which is frustrating for Heidi… and just feeling chronically “not well” over such a long period of time is hard to bear… Please pray for Heidi’s recovery… she would just love to be able to give 100% to “her” kids again… Thanks…

Anyhow… that gets you caught up on the littlest one of the family…  Thanks for caring…

God bless you…

Lots of love,

Corina for Marco and the little one…
